Key Relationships: 

• The Doctor: Most important figure in Clara's life by far, to the detriment of all others. Though their relationship begins as two cheerful friends exploring the universe together, they wind up in a codependent partnership that brings out their worst sides, and reveals the frightening lengths Clara will go to to keep a loved one alive.
• Danny: Deceased boyfriend, treated horribly by Clara during life. She loved him dearly and acted the adoring girlfriend, but lied to him constantly for the entirety of their relationship. And once he was dead, she nearly destroyed herself trying to bring him back. You don't make yourself important to Clara and then just leave. 

Note: 

• I was told there was wiggle room in how long the character could remain home between leaving and returning to Deer Country, so I took a liberty with the amount of time it took Clara to come back, based on the fact that she's an unchanging temporal constant and doesn't age. At the end of her canon she was setting off to begin her life as a time-and-space-traversing immortal, and I wanted to give her some of that experience before rolling up in Trench. Y'all can absolutely pooh-pooh my plan and I'll revise her age back down to something more reasonable in a heartbeat 😇
